Barbecue Dipping Sauce


Prep time : 15 mins
Cooking time : 10 mins
Serves : 2-4

Ingredients :
2 teaspoons oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon malt vinegar
1 tablespoon soft brown sugar
80ml salt reduced tomato sauce (ketchup)
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

Method:
Heat the oil in a small saucepan and cook the onion over low heat for 3 mins, or until soft, stirring occasionally.

Add the remaining ingredients and bring to the boil.

Reduce the heat and simmer for 3 mins, stirring occasionally.

Serve warm or at room temperature.

Can be kept covered and refrigerated, for up to 1 week.
